The name of our company is Ermilo E. Richer Custom Brokers, S.C. We are a first rate Custom Brokers Agency, and are located in the most important port of entry to the Republic of Mexico and Latin America, that is Nuevo Laredo, in the state of Tamaulipas.

We operate on three border custom in the north of the state:

• 800 Colombia, N.L..

• 270 Piedras Negras, Coah.

Brief company history

Our Company was founded in 1917 by Mr. Eugenio G. Richer when he was 23 years old. He started operations in a small office in downtown Nuevo Laredo. He and 2 assistants gave first service to some companies in Mexico City importing goods from U.S.A. . In those years, the total merchandise movement from Nuevo Laredo to Mexico City was 1 train wagon a week. Some years later in 1936, due to federal regulations, Mr. Richer acquired his broker patent and moved to our current address in Nuevo Laredo. His son Ermilo, born in 1926, worked with him since 1945. Their first important client was the formely "Corona" Brewing Co. By 1957 was born Ermilo Jr. who enters the company in 1978 and start making use of the emerging computer technology to help maintain the control of the numerous operations.

Today, we have 150 regular clients and have offices in Laredo, Texas, Nuevo Laredo Mexico, Piedras Negras, Coah. and Mexico City, with over 80 employees.
